An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, compassionate, and professional Live-In Carer/Companion to support a lovely elderly couple within their private home.

The principal client is a lady in her late 80s living with dementia. She is generally calm and communicative, and responds well to gentle, empathetic support. Her husband, in his early 90s, resides at the property.

This role would suit someone with a warm and patient nature who is experienced supporting individuals with dementia, while also maintaining a well-run and comfortable home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing companionship, emotional reassurance, and day-to-day support
• Supporting the lady with personal care as required, delivered with dignity and sensitivity
• Accompanying and driving to medical appointments, errands, and social outings
• Assisting with daily routines to promote structure and wellbeing
• Light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home
• Preparing simple, nutritious meals

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience caring for individuals with dementia within a private household setting
• A calm, empathetic, and patient approach
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Full, clean driving licence (essential)
• Strong communication skills and a professional, respectful manner
