The Role:
- Ensure the smooth running of principle residence; a refurbished & modernised Georgian Rectory and second adjacent property, set with approximately 3.5 acres of grounds.
- Principal running own business with no children or pets.
- Entertaining will include family, friend and business events with occasional guest overnight and weekend stays.
- Will include up to 2 Saturdays or Sundays per month, will require flexibility for split shifts for dinner parties etc. Normal weekday hrs 08:30 -16:30 (5 days per week total)
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding the employer's personal and professional affairs and handle sensitive information with care and professionalism.
Accommodation:
• Large 4 bed detached home in a golf course setting available, approx. 6.5 miles from place of work. (Council tax and utilities covered, the candidate will be responsible for internet connection, TV subscriptions and maintenance of the garden)

Duties:
• Maintaining exceptional home standards
• Laundry, ironing & dry cleaning
• Wardrobe care & management (cashmere, silk etc)
• Flowers & seasonal decor
• Health & safety
• Compliance, annual testing of systems (fire, intruder, boilers, chimney sweep etc)
• Oversee contractors & maintenance
• Preparing for events
• Food & beverage service
• Gift wrapping
• Team Rota's, holiday planning, recruitment
• Occasional shopping
• Basic food preparation
• General assistance to the principal
Requirements:
• Confident communicator
• Take ownership & organisation of the home.
• Flexibility & adaptability to accommodate changing needs & priorities
• Attention to details & the ability to 'see the move'
• Food & beverage service skills
• Basic sewing skills
• Must be a confident driver due to location
• IT skills, email, Word, Excel, use control system Apps & software (security heating etc)
• Overall must demonstrate care, discretion and consistent attention to detail, anticipating household needs to maintain calm, order & smooth daily running of the home
