Domestic Couple

A highly responsible & experienced domestic couple is required for a prestigious private residence near Hampton Court. The current domestic couple are retiring after 20 years, and they will be available to assist with training and support remotely.

This is a long-term opportunity for a hands-on, proactive couple who can oversee the smooth running of the household, manage contractors, and provide high-level housekeeping services.
The principal requires a couple who can work unsupervised when the home is vacant but also be totally flexible and fully engaged when the principal is in residence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping & Laundry: Maintaining the interior to a high standard, including cleaning, laundry, care of fine fabrics and wardrobe management. Packing and unpacking of luggage for frequent travels.
• Cooking: Prepare basic meals when the principal is in residence. Table and drinks service as required. Grocery shopping choosing organic high-quality produce.
• Property Maintenance: Assist with general maintenance of the residence. Good DIY skills a big plus.
• Estate & Household Management: Overseeing contractors, managing household operations, and ensuring the property runs efficiently.
• Errands & Driving: Running errands as needed; one of the couple to drive. Valid UK Driving licence required.
• Pet Care: A large but super friendly dog lives in the household (dog walker employed), so the couple must be dog-friendly.
• Security & Teamwork: Working alongside the existing team, including a security team, EA, and gardening staff.

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience working in a UHNW residence. High end attention to detail, hands on housekeeping and laundry skills. Family style cooking. Overall responsibility for the smooth day to day running of the residence. Team players. Flexible regards daily working hours when the principal is in residence. Strong organisational skills, service orientated attitude with ability to multitask.
