About the Role

Our lovely client, based in a charming village in The Cotswolds, is looking for an experienced and confident Cook/Housekeeper to care for their weekend residence. This role would suit someone who enjoys creating a warm, well-run home environment and preparing delicious, healthy meals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Full housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining the home to a high standard
  • Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
  • Confident cooking of fresh, healthy meals for the family
  • Preparing and serving food for informal dinner parties and small gatherings
  • Managing household supplies and liaising with contractors and tradespeople
  • Assisting with general household organisation

Additional Information

  • The family are away for approximately 15 weeks per year; during these times, working hours will be significantly reduced.
  • The family travel for the whole of August, and ask that you take most of your annual holiday during this period. Other time off for special occasions can be arranged by agreement.
  • Due to allergies, cats cannot be accommodated, but a small dog may be considered.
  • This role may particularly suit someone who enjoys taking extended holidays during the summer, such as visiting family abroad.
