Position Overview:
A prestigious opportunity for an experienced House Manager to oversee the final operational setup and ongoing management of a newly built ultra-luxury property for a High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) and royal family member. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing the household's operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of service, hospitality, and discretion.
The principal and their PA will be the primary point of contact for the House Manager. This is a hands-on role that requires leadership, efficiency, and expertise in managing a high-end residence with a team of 20–30 household staff.
Candidate Requirements:
● Proven experience in setting up and managing large luxury properties, ideally in the Middle East.
● Experience managing a team of 10+ staff in a high-profile private residence or royal household
● Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to create a cohesive, diverse workforce.
● Expertise in staff training, SOP creation, and policy implementation.
● Deep understanding of Middle Eastern culture and etiquette.
● Experience in handling high-value assets, fine art, couture wardrobes, and high-tech security systems.
● Exceptional discretion, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
● Fluency in English is required; French and/or Arabic is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Household Setup & Operational Management:
● Coordinate the final stages of the new property setup, ensuring all aspects of the home are functional and aligned with the principal's expectations.
● Oversee the move-in process, ensuring a seamless transition for the principal and their family.
● Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and household manuals to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
● Implement a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) system for all estate facilities, ensuring continuous upkeep of the property.
● Work closely with architects, designers, and contractors during the final construction and furnishing phase.
Staff Recruitment, Training & Management:
● Recruit, onboard, and train 20–30 household staff members, including butlers, housekeepers, chefs, security personnel, and maintenance staff.
● Create a structured training programme to ensure all staff meet luxury service standards.
● Foster a positive and cohesive team environment, ensuring all staff operate efficiently and harmoniously.
● Manage rotas and schedules, ensuring proper coverage at all times.
● Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans where necessary.
Property & Maintenance Oversight:
● Oversee ongoing property management, ensuring that the residence is maintained to five-star hospitality standards.
● Ensure that all smart home technology, security systems, and high-value assets are functioning optimally.
● Manage household inventories, including luxury goods, fine art, and high-end furnishings.
● Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
Hospitality & Event Management:
● Oversee VIP guest arrivals and departures, ensuring world-class service and security protocols.
● Plan, coordinate, and execute high-profile events and gatherings at the residence.
● Ensure all formal dining, entertainment, and hospitality standards align with royal and luxury service expectations.
● Oversee wardrobe management, personal shopping, and concierge services for the principal and family.
Budget & Financial Management:
● Oversee the household budget, managing expenses efficiently while maintaining the highest standards.
● Approve purchases and ensure cost-effective procurement of household goods and services.
● Maintain financial records and provide reports to the principal's financial advisors.
Travel & Logistics Management:
● Manage the principal's domestic and international travel logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
● Oversee luggage preparation and wardrobe coordination for trips.
● Arrange private aviation, luxury accommodations, and security detail when necessary.
