After School Nanny

Role Overview

A warm, reliable and organised individual with childcare experience is required to support a busy family home. The role focuses on after-school childcare ensuring a safe, fun, and well-organised environment for the children.

The family is looking for someone who enjoys interacting positively with children.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting children from school [within walking distance] and driving them home or to after-school clubs/classes if necessary
• Preparing healthy snacks/tea for the children.
• Supervising play and providing age-appropriate interaction.
• Ensuring school uniforms are placed in the wash. [bonus]
• Safe driving with children, ensuring punctuality for school runs and activities.

Requirements

• Ideally previous experience working with children in a private household, nannying, or housekeeping role, alternatively the employer will consider a responsible person who has brought up their own family.
• Confident and safe car driver with clean licence.
• Positive, engaging, and child-friendly personality.
• Organised, proactive, and able to take initiative in household support.
• Comfortable with family pets – employer is happy for the candidate to bring a well-behaved, friendly dog to work.
