Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time housekeeper to support the smooth running of a private household. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and assisting with light Mediterranean-style cooking.

Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping Duties:

  • General cleaning of all living areas (dusting, vacuuming, mopping)

  • Kitchen cleaning, including dishes, surfaces, and appliances

  • Bathroom cleaning and sanitisation

  • Bed making and changing linens

  • Laundry and ironing

  • Organising household items and maintaining tidy spaces

  • Wardrobe management

Cooking & Kitchen Support:

  • Preparing healthy meals inspired by Mediterranean cuisine (e.g., salads, grilled vegetables, fish, light pasta dishes)

  • Meal prep for later in the day if required

  • Managing fresh ingredients and kitchen stock

  • Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic at all times

Household Support:

  • Occasional grocery shopping or receiving deliveries

  • Monitoring and reporting when household supplies are low

  • Assisting with general household organisation

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a private home, minimum 4 years

  • Competent cooking skills, particularly in Mediterranean-style cuisine

  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

  • Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Good communication skills

  • Confident and happy to work around pets as they have one cat and one puppy
