We are looking for a Chauffeur for our forward thinking client

You need to be able to get to both E15 and Central London by public transport to collect the car as there is no parking.

Overview of the Role
The Executive Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional driving support to the CEO and, where required, members of the CEO's family. The role ensures timely transportation to business and personal commitments while maintaining the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and judgement.
This is a position of trust requiring flexibility, excellent time management, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules at short notice. The role involves long-distance travel across the UK, including evenings and weekends as required, and demands a consistently calm and professional approach. The Executive Driver is responsible for ensuring assigned vehicles are maintained to the highest standard, remain fully roadworthy, and are prepared in advance for every journey. In addition, the role carries responsibility for the physical safety and protection of the CEO and family at all times, requiring proactive threat awareness, detailed route planning, sound situational judgement, and a calm, controlled presence. The post holder acts as a trusted protector as well as driver, ensuring all journeys, locations, and movements are managed with security as the highest priority.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Executive and Family Transport:
o Provide safe, punctual, and professional driving services for the CEO and, where required, family members.
o Transport executives to meetings, conferences, business engagements, social events, and personal commitments as requested.
oSupport with luggage and personal items as required.


2. Journey Planning and Time Management
o Organise pre-arranged travel schedules to maximise efficiency and productivity.
o Monitor traffic conditions, roadworks, congestion, and weather conditions, proactively adjusting routes where necessary.
o Communicate potential delays or alternative travel arrangements clearly and in advance.


3. Vehicle Management and Maintenance
oEnsure assigned vehicles are maintained in excellent condition at all times.
o Manage vehicle servicing, MOTs, repairs, and general upkeep, coordinating with service providers as required.
o Maintain fuel levels and ensure vehicles are prepared and ready prior to all journeys.
o Maintain basic vehicle records and inventory related to servicing and maintenance.


4. Security, Safety, and Professional Conduct
o Operate with a strong awareness of personal security and risk, applying sound judgement during all journeys.
o Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times, particularly when handling sensitive information or situations.
o Remain calm, professional, and responsive when under pressure or dealing with unexpected changes.
o Ensure compliance with road safety laws and best driving practices at all times.


5. Communication and Coordination
o Coordinate effectively with internal staff and stakeholders to ensure travel arrangements and requests are handled appropriately.
o Communicate professionally and clearly with the CEO and relevant contacts regarding schedules, changes, and requirements.
o Work independently while maintaining alignment with executive priorities and expectations.


6. Security, Close Protection & Risk Management
o Maintain responsibility for the personal safety of the CEO and accompanying family members at all times while on duty.
o Conduct dynamic risk assessments before and during journeys, venues, and arrivals/departures, identifying potential threats and adapting plans accordingly.
o Plan secure routes, safe stopping points, and alternative contingencies in advance of all travel.
o Maintain heightened situational awareness in public and private environments, identifying suspicious behaviour or emerging risks.
o Ensure safe entry and exit from vehicles, buildings, and locations, positioning vehicles strategically to allow rapid departure if required.
o Implement protective driving techniques where necessary and respond calmly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies.
o Liaise discreetly with venues, residences, and internal stakeholders to ensure secure access arrangements.
o Maintain confidentiality around movements, schedules, locations, and personal matters at all times.
o Be prepared to provide immediate protective support in unexpected situations, prioritising the CEO and family's safety above all else.
o Support residential security awareness where required (arrival procedures, perimeter awareness, coordination with household staff).
o Maintain readiness of emergency equipment, communication devices, and vehicle safety provisions.


Skills & Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in Close Protection/Driving role with experience working for a private family or ideally Police/Military.
• Strong, clean driving history with extensive experience in long-distance driving.
• Practical experience working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
• Strong diary and calendar management capability.
• Good awareness of routes and travel in and around London and across the UK.
• Security background
• Medical Qualification of FREC3 or FPOS or equivalent (D13). - Highly Desirable 
• Advanced Driving Qualification or RoSP (Gold/Silver).- Highly Desirable
• CP - SIA licence - Strong Preference

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• High level of flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours when required.

• Good knowledge and experience driving in London.
