Domestic Couple – Hampshire/Berkshire Border
Permanent, full-time live-in position
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45am–1:00pm and 3:00pm–6:00pm (hours can be shared/staggered between the couple) i.e. one can start early and finish early…
Please note that the employers travel for around 4 months of the year [not consecutively] and during that time you will need to be willing to feed and walk one dog.

Overview
A traditional and welcoming household on the Hampshire/Berkshire border seeks an experienced and well-presented Domestic Couple to take on combined duties of Housekeeper / Cook / Chauffeur/ House Manager. The role requires a professional, discreet, and proactive couple who take pride in maintaining high standards and running a smooth, well-organised home.

Responsibilities
Household Management
- Managing CCTV, Fire, Burglar Alarm Systems
- Managing security, checking the house, external lights etc
- Managing the house, including assisting with cleaning, particularly the stone floors, polishing silver
- Clock winding
- Butler duties and wine cellar
- Managing the car fleet (5 cars) plus Kubota
- Occasional chauffeur requirements. Advanced driving course would be good
- Assisting with household errands
- Arranging boiler service and regular checks on heating system
- Checking water filtration systems
- Security for house when owners are away
- Dog walking, feeding and vet trips
Housekeeper
- All housekeeping and laundry
- Cooking daily when couple are in residence

Requirements
1. Previous experience working as a domestic couple in a private household
2. Excellent housekeeping and organisational skills
3. Confident, capable cook with a focus on fresh, healthy meals
4. Full driving licence (at least one driver essential)
5. Trustworthy, discreet, and self-sufficient
6. Good communication and teamwork skills
7. Confident, cheerful, adaptable and able to multi task
